Get Your HS-Omega-3 Index^® In Five Easy Steps!

 

Step 1. Set up an OmegaQuant Consumer Account

To order a sample collection kit, you will first need to set up your password-protected account by providing contact information and selecting a password. Enter your information in the "New Customer" fields here.

Step 2. Purchase a Test

Login to your new account and follow the instructions to purchase a test through the shopping cart.

Step 3. Receive a kit / Collect a sample

After you have purchased a kit, it will be sent to you by US mail to the address you have provided during the account setup. The kit will be sent out within 1 business day of receiving the completed order and contains detailed instructions for collecting a drop of blood, which can also be viewed here. California and New York State residents, please see bottom of page.

Step 4. Return the Kit

After you have filled out the necessary forms, collected the drop of blood, and let the sample dry on the collection card, place the card (along with the dessicant pack and order form) into the return mail envelope. Mail the envelope back to OmegaQuant as soon as possible after collecting the sample.


Step 5. Get the Results

Once your sample has been received at OmegaQuant Analytics, it will be analyzed and a report will be generated within 3-5 business days. You will be notified by email that your report is ready for downloading. Click on the link in the email notification, login to your account, and click on the link to view your "Order History" or select "View Results" in the top right corner. The test will be listed by Order Number. You can download your report to your computer, or simply view it online. The report will remain available for review on the OmegaQuant Analytics website for 5 years. A sample report may be viewed here.

California Residents: State law requires a doctor's order or an order from another health care provider licensed to prescribe in California in order for our lab to provide test results. After receiving your test kit, return your blood samples to our laboratory in the pre-addressed postage paid envelope provided with a copy of a prescription or order from your health care provider.

New York Residents: State law prohibits our lab from collecting blood samples or sending results to residents of the state of New York. Therefore we are unable to process internet orders from customers in New York at this time.
